In 2007, Tuareg guitarist Omara Mochtar was forced to flee his home in Agadez, Niger when guitars were banned as they were seen as a symbol of protest and 2 of his fellow musicians were killed. After things calmed down in late 2009, he was able to return. This is from one of his homecoming concerts.
